Birds are all around us – including here at the library! Check out these bird-related activities happening in February.
Join the Great Backyard Bird CountGet outdoors this Family Day weekend and join the Great Backyard Bird Count! This worldwide event runs February 14-17.
Your participation in this community science project helps scientists better understand global bird populations. Simply watch, count and report on as many birds as you can find.

During Black History Month, we celebrate the many achievements and contributions of Black Canadians here at home and around the world. To learn more about these achievements, we are offering programs, books, stories, and library collections that celebrate Black heritage.

Come study in the library, pick up a study essentials kit and enjoy some snacks! All high school students are welcome to stay in the library past regular closing times (8:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.) to study for exams or work on end of term projects. Acton Branch: Jan 21 – 23.
