April is a celebration of Mother Earth and the ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint around the world. April 16 – April 22 is celebrated annually as Earth Week and this year’s theme is ‘Invest in Our Planet’. This is a time to recognize and appreciate our natural world, become educated and aware of the environmental issues we face, as well as the responsibility we have to care for our planet.
