Earth Week Activities at the LibraryApril 16 – April 22 is celebrated annually as Earth Week, culminating in Earth Day on April 22. This is a time to recognize and appreciate our natural world, become educated and aware of the environmental issues we face, as well as the responsibility each of us has to care for our planet, right here at home.

The Halton Hills Public Library (HHPL) is celebrating the one-year launch of the Sensory Collection!

Last year, in recognition of Autism Awareness Month, HHPL created a new collection to provide support for neurodiverse patrons, families, and caregivers during library visits. Local Lens: The Black Experience in Halton

The Halton Black History Awareness Society (HBHAS) is encouraging high school students across Halton to explore their local Black History and share their research in an essay or video narrative contest.
