Christina da Rocha-Feeley

Libraries have always had a special place in Christina’s life, as not only a way to access information, but to provide a safe place for communities to come together and gain access to technologies and programs. She moved to Georgetown with her family in June 2021. One of the first things they did was seek out the library. She was immediately struck by both the quality of the collection and the welcoming and inclusive space.

Christina has a Master in Library and Information Science from Western University and has worked in the not-for-profit and public sector for the past 19 years in roles overseeing operations, strategic planning, finance, and governance. For the past six years, she has been the Director of Operations for the Office of the Governing Council at the University of Toronto.

As a board member, Christina hopes to contribute her skills and experience, as well as her knowledge and love of libraries, to act as an advisor, partner to develop policy, support fundraising, and raise awareness of the role the HHPL plays in supporting the broader Halton Hills community.
