Partnering with others ensures that our programming and collections represent the diverse voices, experiences and expertise of our community. Find information below on how to submit a proposal to collaborate on a program or event with us, or how to suggest an item (book, DVD or other item) for our collections.

The Halton Hills Public Library welcomes program suggestions. Library programs are designed to complement our collections, services, and goals. We take into consideration the interests of our community, our physical spaces and a program's contribution to the overall schedule of events. Library programs are planned 6 to 12 months in advance.

Can't find an item in our catalogue, we welcome suggestions for:

  • Authors, titles, or subjects of interest to you that would also be of interest to others.
  • Items of local interest, relating to Halton Hills or Ontario.

Suggestions are evaluated based on our Collection Management Policy and the availability of the item for purchase. If an item is rare or difficult to purchase, you may want to try our Borrow from Another Library service.
