Halton Hills Public Library will be launching a new library website in April 2026!
As part of the library system upgrades that started in October 2025, the library will be developing a new website over the coming months. During this time, some website features will be changing or moving to other parts of the online library, such as the library catalogue and library program and events calendar. Updates will be posted here regularly.

Text Message Notifications
You can now receive notifications about your holds and reminders about overdue items by text message on your phone. To sign up, please visit a library service desk or contact the library at 905-873-2681 or askus@haltonhills.ca.

New Program Calendar
The new program calendar is available at https://hhpl.events.mylibrary.digital/
The study room booking system is still in progress and will be launched later this year.
In addition, the following library services are temporarily paused while we are updating our system features:
- Online library card registration. Please visit a library branch to register instead.
- Telephone (voicemail) notifications for holds and overdue items are being discontinued. Please make sure the library has your email address. Notifications by text message is now available.
