Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is a group of volunteers dedicated to enhancing library programs and services for the community. Through book sales and other fundraising activities, the Friends of the Library contributes to the development and enhancement of library services for children, teens, and adults wherever the need is greatest.

Donate books or other library materials

Both the Georgetown and Acton Branches accept donations of gently used books and other library materials. For more information on the types of material we accept, please review our Library Board Policies – Collections Management Policy.
