Spring is around the corner! Get into the gardening spirit with Seedy Saturday at the Acton Branch. Join us on Saturday, March 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day of activities for all ages.  

 

For families: 

  • Family Storytime: Drop-in for special garden-themed stories. 

  • Family Drop-in: Decorate your own bookmark, plant a seed to take home, or solve our garden-themed scavenger hunt! 

 

For adults and youth: 

  • Gardening and Landscape Advice Panel: Local experts will share tips on creating thriving outdoor spaces. 

  • Film Screening of In My Backyard: Follow director Jamie Day Fleck as she transforms her Toronto backyard into a kitchen garden.

Don’t forget: the Seed Library’s next seed drop is on Wednesday, March 19. An assortment of flower, herb and vegetable seeds with sow dates between April and June will be available.
