On October 8 starting at 10:30 a.m., Halton Hills Public Library will be once again hosting the local children and youth Art at the Library Exhibition at the Georgetown Branch. Join the celebration of artistry, creativity, and ingenuity from talent across Halton Hills. Delight in the paintings, drawings, watercolours, clay creations, and great conversations. Discover what the art represents to you, appreciate the colours, tones and why it caught your eye!
Make connections and meet our esteemed panel of judges
Some of our judges will be presenting special programs throughout the day, so don’t miss out!
Join Mike Shiell, author and illustrator of Linty: A Pocketful of Adventure, as he reads from his book. Afterwards, chat with him and ask questions. Grab a copy of his book from IndigoSpirit at the Georgetown Mall and Mike will sign it for you!
Create with Becky D’Onofrio, a local artist who works with watercolors and pastels. Drop by the Helson Gallery between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. to make artsy bookmarks with her.
Our other esteemed judges: Tamara Smith, Library Board member; Denyse Churchill, Helson Gallery Assistant Curator; and Adrianna Sisti, Local Highschool art teacher.
