Level Up Your March Break at the Library

March Break is just around the corner, and Halton Hills Public Library is ready with a full week of exciting programs for children, youth and families from March 13 to 20.

From high energy tournaments and interactive science shows to creative workshops and family storytimes, there is something happening every day at your Library.

🎉 For Children

This March Break, kids can race, build, experiment, imagine and create:

Professor Orbax and Sweet Pepper Klopek bring weird science and cool experiments together in an interactive, family friendly performance.

  • Sibling Storytime with Kerry’s Place
Through storytelling, children with Autistic siblings will build empathy skills and learn about embracing differences in this Foundational Family Service program.  Registered.

  • Sew a Softie
Design and stitch your very own soft, squishy toy using bright fabrics and playful decorations. Registered.

  • Super Mario Bros Party
Celebrate all things Mario as we create crafts like a Mario World marble run while watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

  • Seed Starting Station
Help spring bloom early by planting seeds in biodegradable pots to take home.

  • A Wicked Storytime
Add a sprinkle of magic with a special storytime hosted by Glinda from Wicked.

  • Lego Robotics (Grades 4 to 6)
Explore LEGO Spike Robots and learn basic coding skills in a hands-on workshop. Registered.

  • Stargazing
Try our 3D printed telescope and discover constellations like the Big Dipper and the Milky Way. Dress warmly.

  • Sewing for Beginners
Learn the basics of hand sewing, cross stitch and embroidery to wrap up the week. Registered.

🎮 For Youth

Teens can level up their March Break with creative tech, gaming and after hours fun:

  • Tabletop Games
Bring your own RPG campaign, challenge friends, or learn a new game. All experience levels welcome.

  • DIY Mini Book Keychain
3D print your favourite book as a miniature and turn it into a keychain using our creative technology tools.

Whether you are planting the first seeds of spring, experimenting with science, diving into virtual reality or enjoying a live performance, March Break at the Library is all about discovery, creativity and community.
