National Indigenous History Month, recognized in June, is a time to learn more about the histories, cultures, and stories of Indigenous peoples in Canada, including National Indigenous Peoples Day which takes place on June 21.

The Moccasin Identifier
Join us to recognize Indigenous heritage and culture by using stencils to create temporary paintings based on drawings of historical moccasins of the Anishinaabe, Huron-Wendat, Seneca and Cree. This drop-in program is for all ages. Please come prepared to paint and all ages are welcome to participate. Acton Branch on June 8, 10am-12pm and Georgetown Branch on June 22, 10am-12pm.
