June is Seniors Month in Ontario. This year’s theme is Fit, Active, and Healthy Seniors. Halton Hills Public Library, our community partners, Recreation and Parks, and HillsvieActive Living Seniors Centre can help you stay physically, mentally, and socially engaged at any age. There are many special activities being offered throughout the month of June.

Family History Writers’ Circle 

If you have researched your ancestors or have stories from your own lifetime to tell, join our group for writers of family history. No writing experience required! This group meets monthly to work on family history and memoirs, with each session offering themes and writing prompts to help guide your writing. 

  

Hillsview Active Living Senior Centres 

Enjoy special events throughout June, including sponsored lunches with entertainment, social events and dinners, and various programs and presentations. Adults aged 50+ may also pick up one complimentary swim/skate pass.

Creative Bug offers online classes taught by recognized design experts and artists, so you can finally master that new art or craft. 

LinkedIn Learning allows you to upgrade your tech skills and stay on top of changes. 

Small Engine Repair provides user-friendly repair guides for all manner of small engines, from motorcycles and ATVs to generators and outdoor power equipment. 

Transparent Language can help you build vocabulary, practice skills, and maintain what you’ve learned in over 100 languages.
