Your opinion matters.
We are excited to join the Library Impact Ontario project, a province-wide initiative aimed at improving public library technology services to better meet the needs of our community.
The project focuses on gathering community feedback and data to evaluate current services and identify opportunities for growth. Through this, we aim to bridge the digital divide, provide equitable access to technology, and empower you to thrive in today’s digital world.
We Want to Hear From You!
We are inviting residents to share their thoughts in a patron survey. Your feedback will help shape future technology services and ensure they meet community needs. You can complete the 3 - 5-minute survey online at www.hhpl.ca or visit us in branch to fill it out in person.
Technology for Everyone
We strive to provide resources for all ages. You will find items like free Wi-Fi, internet stations, gaming laptops, video consoles, Chromebooks, portable Wi-Fi hotspots, and STEAM kits like coding robots and microscopes. The Creativity Centre features advanced tools like 3D printers, Cricut machines, and equipment for converting VHS to digital formats, making it a hub for innovation and creativity. In addition, we provide digital resources like eBooks, audiobooks, film streaming from Kanopy, and learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning and Creativebug. Personalized support is available through “Book a Librarian” sessions and technology workshops to help users build skills and confidence.
Why It Matters
Your library is committed to fostering digital equity, supporting education, and enabling creativity. By participating in this survey, the library can continue to align its services with community needs, drive innovation, guide future offerings, and ensure that it is a vital resource for all Halton Hills residents.
You can access the survey directly at: https://www.bridgetoolkit.ca/survey/hhpl. Thank you for supporting your local library and we will see you in our branches.
