For parents: benefits of participation

Have you heard of the “summer slide”? Studies show that children lose reading skills over the summer months if they do not continue to read while they are out of school. Joining the TD Summer Reading Club and participating in online library programs will keep kids of all ages, interests, and abilities reading!

  • Encourages kids of all ages, interests, and abilities to read during the summer.
  • For pre or emerging readers, help develop early literacy skills.
