Teens (12 to 18 years old) can join the Teen Advisory Council (TAC). TAC helps to make the Halton Hills Public Library a special place for teens. As a member of TAC you have a chance to have your say in what happens at the library, become involved in the community and meet new friends.
TAC members earn volunteer hours for attending meetings. At meetings, you can:
- Suggest ways that the library can better serve teens
- Test out new technology
- Share ideas for new teen programs
- Provide feedback about the library's teen collection including: books, graphic novels, magazines and video games
- Help with the library's Teen Instagram account
Meetings
TAC meets once a month at these times:
- Acton Branch: The third Thursday of the month, 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
- Georgetown Branch: The first Thursday of the month, 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
