Homework Help
We have books, databases and friendly staff all ready to help you complete your projects. Visit the Homework Help page to get started on your research today.
Collections
Search our catalogue for children’s books, movies and more. We also have free streaming services available like Hoopla and Freegal. Our Book Club in a Bag kits are ready for your next book club meeting, or you can order books from another library through our Borrow from Another Library service.

Family Recreation Activities
Recreation and Parks has teamed up with HHPL to offer residents the opportunity to borrow a variety of fun activities and inspiring games. Activities include Spikeball, Giant Jenga, Disc Bash, Bean Bag Toss, Giant Kerplunk, Parachute, Boom Whackers, Speed Stacking Sets, and Pop Up Soccer sets. Also available are a variety of Active Easy Kits that encourage outdoor activity. Place a hold on an activity with your HHPL card, and we will let you know when it is ready to pick up.
Free to Explore: Skate and Swim Pass

These passes provide entrance for up to 4 people to a Public Skate or Leisure Swim at any Town of Halton Hills arena or pool. At least 1 adult aged 18 years must be in attendance. Passes can be used for a 7 day period. View our Library Catalogue to place your hold. 

Kids Creativity Centre

All branches include a dedicated space where kids (and caregivers!) can express their creativity through a variety of S.T.E.M. based building toys.

Group Visits

Screen-based Activities

All branches include a variety of screen-based activities, including console video games, safe search Internet stations, and Early Literacy Stations for younger children.

Stay and Play

All branches include an in-house collection of developmentally-appropriate games and toys for children, including wooden puzzles for toddlers and board games for school-aged children.
