- Children can use a desktop Chromebox in the Children's Areas of both the Acton and the Georgetown Branch.
- Printing is not available from these computers. Please see Printing and Copying for more information, or ask a staff member for assistance.

Desktop computers |
- You can use a desktop computer in both the Acton Branch and the Georgetown Branch. These PCs have an Internet Browser, Microsoft Office, and the Library Catalogue.

- Users need a library card to sign in. Visitors to the community can request a guest card.

Desktop computers - creativity centre |
- Computers in the Creativity Centre have video, music and photo editing software.
- These computers can also be used to transfer VHS tapes to digital formats such as digital files and DVDs, and to scan photographs and photo slides.
- In addition, these computers have other video and graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop Elements, Ancestry Family Tree Maker and Blender.

Gaming laptops |
Check out one of the Library’s new gaming laptops! Available starting October 17th. These laptops are for in library use only and are pre-loaded with gaming software, including Xbox Live, Epic Games and Discord. Log into your Roblox account and play with your friends.

iPad Pro to go |
- iPad Pros are available to borrow to any Halton Hills Public Library card holder who is 18 years or older for a period of 14 days. iPad Pros must be picked up within 24 hours of email or phone notification.
- They are pre-loaded with Library Apps, including LinkedIn Learning, Libby, CloudLibrary, GoodReads, Hoopla and Freegal. Also included are social media, gaming and wellness Apps along with an Apple Pencil and charger.
- Create a free Apple ID or sign-in with an existing one to download more Apps.
- The full replacement cost will be charged after the iPad Pro is one WEEK overdue.
- Lost, damaged or overdue iPad Pros have a replacement cost of $750.00.
- Lost, damaged or overdue Apple Pencils have a replacement cost of $130.00
- Please return iPad Pros to the circulation desk, no book drop returns.

Laptops and chromebooks |
- Laptops and Chromebooks are available to be borrowed for use in the Library. You need a library card to borrow one from any service desk.
- Laptops and Chromebooks can be borrowed for two hours, once per day, and can be renewed for longer if needed.
- Each laptop has Microsoft Office and each Chromebook has a suite of Google apps.
