The Halton Hills Public Library offers small to large multipurpose meeting spaces in our Acton and Georgetown Branches.
Meeting Rooms
Rooms are available to rent for a fee. Your room rental provides you with access to library facilities such washrooms, a kitchenette, and plenty of on-site and nearby parking. If your meeting occurs during regular business hours, you can also enjoy access to internet workstations, a networked printer, and a photocopier. Study Rooms
The Library also has small study rooms available for individuals to use for quiet study during regular open hours. There is no fee to book and use a study room. You can book a study room for a maximum of 2 hours per day. You can have two bookings at any one time (for example, one today and one at a later date).
The following guidelines apply:
- Bookings for study rooms may also be scheduled by phone or in person at a Library Service Desk.
- A Halton Hills Public Library card is required to book public study rooms online.
- A maximum of two room bookings may be scheduled on a library card at one time.
- The maximum booking for a person or group per day is two hours.
- Check-in to a Study Room at the Service Desk before entering the room.
- A reservation is held for 15 minutes from the reserved time.
- If you do not arrive within the 15-minute grace period, the room is free to be booked by someone else.
- Each room seats a maximum of four people.
Exam Proctoring
The Halton Hills Public Library offers exam proctoring services at both the Acton and Georgetown branches.
Exam proctoring services are available on Friday's from 10:00 am 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm. We are unable to accommodate exams longer than 3 hours. To schedule a booking please complete the exam proctoring request form.
