The Halton Hills Public Library offers study rooms in both our Georgetown and Acton branches. The rooms are free to use.
The small study rooms are available for individuals to use for quiet study during regular open hours. There is no fee to book and use a study room. You can book a study room for a maximum of 2 hours per day. You can have two bookings at any one time (for example, one today and one at a later date).
The following guidelines apply:
- Bookings for study rooms may also be scheduled by phone or in person at a Library Service Desk.
- A Halton Hills Public Library card is required to book public study rooms online.
- A maximum of two room bookings may be scheduled on a library card at one time.
- The maximum booking for a person or group per day is two hours.
- Check-in to a Study Room at the Service Desk before entering the room.
- A reservation is held for 15 minutes from the reserved time.
- If you do not arrive within the 15-minute grace period, the room is free to be booked by someone else.
- Each room seats a maximum of four people.
