You can access free, wireless Internet service in our library branches, or you can borrow an Internet hotspot to take home with you.
In-Library wireless Internet
The Halton Hills Public Library's Wi-Fi service is open to all library visitors, free of charge. You will need a wireless-enabled laptop computer, tablet PC, eReader or other wireless-enabled device to use it.
Wifi to Go
You can borrow an Internet hotspot to access the Internet from home. Connect up to 15 devices at one time, with battery life lasting up to 8 hours. The sleek portable device is compact to carry home and makes staying connected easier than ever.
Borrowers must be at least 18 years old.

Any Halton Hills Public Library card holder who is 18 years or older. |
Overdue fees |
$1/day. Overdue Internet hotspots will be de-activated. The FULL replacement cost will be charged after the device is 1 WEEK overdue. |
Replacement cost |
WiFi to Go: Lost, damaged or overdue Internet hotspots have a replacement cost of $200.00. |
Service coverage |
Service is available anywhere in Canada within the Rogers cell phone coverage area. Service is not guaranteed. International service is not available. |
Usage fee |
Free. Unlimited data, 3G or 4G/LTE connection. |
Borrowing |
Internet hotspots and iPads may be borrowed for up to 14 days, and may be placed on hold. Internet hotspots and iPads must be picked up within 24 hours of email or phone notification. |

- The Library's wireless network is not secure. We cannot guarantee the safety of your traffic across the wireless network.
- We do not assume any responsibility for the configurations, security, or files on your laptop or other device resulting from connection to the library's network.
