The Halton Hills Public Library offers a range of materials and services for teens in our community. Browse our Program Calendar to see what programs we are offering for you! And while you are here visiting, be sure to register for a Library Card!
See below for a list of materials and services:
Exam Cram |
The library provides safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces for students to study for exams, or to complete any end of year assignments, through our Exam Cram program. There will be extra study space, study aids and resources, stationery, and study snacks available for students studying at either branch. |
Homework Help |
We have books, databases and friendly staff all ready to help you complete your projects. Book an appointment with a librarian if you need help researching an essay topic, or visit the Homework Help page to get started on your research today. |
Collections |
Search our catalogue for young adult books or audiobooks, or check out our video and board game collections. We also have free streaming services available like Hoopla and Freegal. |
Volunteer Opportunities |
Looking for an opportunity to contribute to your community? We provide access to volunteer opportunities that can count toward your 40 hours required to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. |
Teen Advisory Council (TAC) |
The library wants you! Join our Acton or Georgetown Teen Advisory Council. As a member of TAC you have a chance to have your say in what happens at the library, become involved in the community and meet new friends. |
Youth Taxi Scrip Tickets |
If you are a registered user with the Youth Taxi Scrip Program, you can purchase tickets at both Library branches. This service is available to youth ages 13 – 19 and allows riders to call participating taxi companies directly for travel within Halton Hills. See Youth Taxi Scrip Program for more information and to register. |
