Summer Reading Challenge

The Halton Hills Public Library is your place for summer fun! The library offers many great programs and services for children, youth and adults during the summer months.
TD Summer Reading Club
Get ready for a summer full of reading adventures with the TD Summer Reading Club! Register in branch, pick up your reading package, and read each day to earn prizes throughout the summer. Aim for 30 minutes a day for confident readers or 15 minutes a day for emerging readers.

Georgetown Branch - Saturday, June 20
TD Summer Reading Club Launch Party Kick off our summer of reading on Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. This event takes place during the Georgetown Farmers Market and Bike It to Market, so there will be lots to see and do! Families can sign up for the TD Summer Reading Club and get ready for a summer of reading adventures. Enjoy water‑themed games and activities and explore the ocean with our green screen experience. From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., a special guest from Dirty Scuba Adventures will be visiting. Check out real scuba diving gear and learn how scuba divers explore underwater worlds.
Acton Branch - Saturday, June 13
The TD Summer Reading Club Launch Party is coming to the Acton Branch on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Kids can sign up for the TD Summer Reading Club and get ready for a summer full of great books. There will be water‑themed games and activities, plus a fun green screen experience to try. From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., a special visit from Wild Ontario will bring learning to life. See amazing birds of prey up close during a live show and learn about these incredible animals.

Family Recreation Activities
