Welcoming and Inclusive
Library Spaces
We offer dedicated areas where youth can relax, explore, and engage. Enjoy access to Steam Decks, video game stations, and a teen lounge featuring comfortable seating and quiet study spaces. You’ll also find a variety of board games, puzzles, and other interactive activities that encourage creativity, collaboration, and fun. Visit your local branch today!

Fine free
Borrow, read, discover, and explore with confidence. Youth ages 12 to 24 years old never pay overdue fines at the library. Visit at our Library Card page for more information.

Community partners
The library connects youth with community partners and services that support well-being and belonging. Together, we work to create equitable access to healthy food, support services, and opportunities that help local youth thrive. School and Group visits
The library happily welcomes tours and group visits! Visits can include library card sign-ups, research skills, and technology programming using our Creativity Centre. Book a Visit.
Volunteer Opportunities
We provide access to volunteer opportunities that can count toward the 40 hours required to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Opportunities include our Teen Advisory Council and more. Visit our volunteer opportunities page to learn how you can get involved.
Youth Taxi Scrips
If you are a registered user with the Youth Taxi Scrip Program, you can purchase tickets at both Library branches. This service is available to youth ages 13 – 19 and allows riders to call participating taxi companies directly for travel within Halton Hills.
