This map shows the original surveyors of the southern part of Georgetown in the early-to-mid 1800s. The Georgetown Branch houses corresponding microfilm that contain information on previous property owners, purchase history and more. 

Using the map to locate the original land surveys, you can access the Land Records books to learn more about the history of a house or lot. The Land Records books are available in the Local History Archives room of the Georgetown Branch.
