The Halton Hills Public Library offers small to large multipurpose meeting spaces.

A variety of rooms are available to the public and can be rented for a fee. All room rentals include access to the following library facilities: washrooms, on-site or nearby parking, computer workstations, networked printer, and photocopier. Other features such as kitchenettes, projectors, televisions, and Wi-Fi connections vary from room to room – please see descriptions below. All rooms are available during regular library hours.

HHPL also has small study rooms available for individuals to use for quiet study during regular open hours. For more information, please visit our Study Rooms page. 

Exam Proctoring

HHPL offers exam proctoring services at both the Acton and Georgetown branches. For more information, please visit our Exam Proctoring page.

Equipment needs

Please indicate if you have additional requirements or need equipment. Please note that not all equipment is available at all facilities.

Insurance

All groups are required to carry liability insurance in the amount of $2 million dollars, if you do not already have coverage you can purchase insurance through the Town of Halton Hills at a reasonable rate. Please note that the insurance purchased from the Town is only valid for activities that occur at approved Library property. If your group does have liability insurance coverage, we require a copy of the certificate, which must specify the following:


  1. $2 million dollars liability insurance coverage per occurrence.

  2. To purchase Insurance from the Town please contact the Library at: 905-873-2681 ext. 2554.
