Come and visit one of Canada’s first Short Story Dispensers, created by French publishing house Short Édition. This unique stand-alone kiosk delivers on-the-go stories. You can choose from three categories of short stories and with the push of a button the machine will dispense a scroll with a randomly chosen story for free. The library of stories is curated by The Center for Fiction, drawing from affiliated authors, emerging writers, award winners and nominees, teachers, and students. The three button categories include Local, Worldwide and For Kids. One button will always be dedicated to children’s stories and the other two will provide other themes throughout the year. The stories are printed on eco-friendly recyclable paper using no ink or print cartridge.

*Short Story Dispenser will travel between branches.
