The Halton Hills Public Library offers small to large multipurpose meeting spaces in our Acton and Georgetown Branches.
A variety of rooms are available to the public and can be rented for a fee. All room rentals include access to the following library facilities: washrooms, on-site or nearby parking, computer workstations, networked printer, and photocopier. Other features such as kitchenettes, projectors, televisions, and Wi-Fi connections vary from room to room – please see descriptions below. All rooms are available during regular library hours.

Acton Branch - Community Room | ||||||||||||||
The Community Room can accommodate 35-40 people seated in a theatre-style or 12-15 comfortably seated at tables. This space comes with access to Wi-Fi, an overhead projector, multi-media television screen, and a small kitchenette. Community Room rates effective September 1, 2024.

Acton Branch - Partner Room | ||||||||||||||
The Partner Room in the Acton Branch is a brightly lit room within the Library’s public space, with a sliding door for quiet conversations and frosted glass for privacy. This space can accommodate up to six people seated comfortably and includes access to Wi-Fi. Partner Room rates effective September 1, 2024.

Georgetown Branch - Homecoming Room | ||||||||||||||
The Homecoming Room can accommodate up to ten people seated comfortably. This space includes access to a television and whiteboard. Wi-Fi must be booked in advance from the Library, if needed. Homecoming Room rates effective September 1, 2023.

The Partner Rooms in the Georgetown Branch can accommodate up to four people each. These spaces include access to Wi-Fi. Partner Room rates effective September 1, 2024.

Cultural Centre - Studio Room | ||||||||||||||
The Studio Room is located in the lower level of the Cultural Centre and can accommodate medium-sized professional or social events. This space includes an overhead projector, whiteboard, and access to Wi-Fi. There is a small kitchenette for food and drink preparation and optional bar facilities. The Studio Room is managed by the Town of Halton Hills and can be booked on the Town's website or by calling 905-873-2600, extension 7722. |
