The Halton Hills Public Library offers a variety of programs and materials that introduce children to S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). Our programs are hands-on and often use special equipment. We present new technologies in a casual and fun way.

Science and Technology Programs

Animation Studio
Learn all about the power of animation! Join our 8-week program and learn how to make your very own animated short film! No experience needed. For kids 8-12.
Lego Robotics
Kids learn how to assemble a motorized LEGO robot. They will learn how to program it and will solve weekly challenges. For kids 10-13.
Maker Meet-up
Explore your creativity and learn a new hobby in this 8-week crafting program! Each week we'll explore and create a different type of handmade craft, including macramé, printmaking, beading and more. No experience needed. For kids in Grades 4 to 6.
Please note: Many of these programs are offered in 8 week sessions four times a year. Some programs require registration and some require fees (to cover instructors and materials) that must be paid at registration.
