Guidelines:
Please read the Student and Library Responsibilities for Exam Proctoring.
You are required to have a Halton Hills Public Library card in good standing and one additional piece of valid photo identification. A minimum of 10 days' notice is required. Please allow 2-3 business days for a confirmation.
The library is not a distraction-free setting.
Students must arrive at least 15 minutes before their exam start time to pay their proctoring fee and complete any pre-exam procedures or paperwork. Scheduled exam times cannot be extended because of late arrival.
The library will receive, supervise, and then submit your exam to your school.
A library staff member will check on you periodically as you complete your exam.
It is the responsibility of the student to install the proper software on their computer prior to writing the exam.
The library can provide a laptop if needed for online exams. No additional software will be installed on library-owned laptops.
The library staff are able to offer minimal technical support (ex. Wi-Fi connection).
The library is not responsible for unforeseen interruptions of the test due to loss of power, Internet service, or other problems.
