Library Board

The Halton Hills Public Library is governed by the Halton Hills Public Library Board.

The Board is appointed by the Town of Halton Hills and consists of nine community volunteers and two Town Councilors.

We welcome any comments or questions you may have about the governance and policies of the Halton Hills Public Library. Feel free to contact the Board by email.

Comments or questions regarding operations can be forwarded to the Chief Librarian & CEO.

All Board meetings are open to the public. The Board meets once a month from September to June; the venue rotates between the Georgetown and Acton branches. See full schedule below.

The Library Board is conducting in-person meetings. Members of the public wishing to attend, must register with Lori Mazza Brenton by 12:00 pm (noon) the Monday prior to the meeting.
