The Halton Hills Public Library is governed by the Halton Hills Public Library Board.
The Board is appointed by the Town of Halton Hills and consists of nine community volunteers and two Town Councillors.
We welcome any comments or questions you may have about the governance and policies of the Halton Hills Public Library. Feel free to contact the Board by email.
All Board meetings are open to the public. The Board meets once a month from September to June; the venue rotates between the Georgetown and Acton branches. See full schedule below.
The Library Board is conducting in-person meetings. Members of the public wishing to attend, must register with Lori Mazza Brenton by 12:00 pm (noon) the Monday prior to the meeting.
Help Shape What's Next
Every four years, community members have the opportunity to help shape the future of the Halton Hills Public Library by serving on its Board.
Board recruitment for the 2027–2030 term is coming this fall. More information about the opportunity, application process and upcoming information sessions will be available in September.
